SANIE BOKHARI

Born in Lahore, Pakistan - currently based in New York City.

Sanié Bokhari's unique artistic approach combines the deep historical narrative of South Asia with the vibrancy of Western pop culture, exploring themes of imperialism, migration, and cultural identity from a feminist perspective. A graduate of the National College of Arts, Lahore, and the Rhode Island School of Design, her work is marked by the use of intricate graphite drawings, paintings, and sculptures. She has been recognized in numerous global exhibitions and prestigious residencies for her work that challenges Western feminism, underlining the experience of a transnational woman. Bokhari will discuss her innovative project that combines architectural rubbings of Manhattan with evocative memories of her homeland, crafting a narrative that defies spatial and temporal boundaries.

VECTOR ART EXCHANGE - NEWS

FINE ART EXCHANGE

PHASE 1 - ALPHA

Empowering artists to generate wealth through the efforts of their creativity.

Within the art world one of the major problems that artists face is they don't have a reliable or stable income stream. Vector is creating an ecosystem to solve this problem by providing a mechanism where artists who are curated into the system can generate an income. The cross-chain digital platform (Metachain) uses a proprietary blockchain based tokenization method that provides authentication, valuation, and royalty tracking for works of art. This platform is fueled by the Vector Coin. Each Vector Coin is minted from the valuation of a work of art (proof of creativity) and acts as a “share” of ownership.
